The MDL Dynascan system is a portable, light-weight high-speed laser scanning system comprising internal RTK/GNSS GPS and Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) for accurate positioning, RTK Radio Receiver, Bluetooth modem, Power Supply Unit (PSU), and other peripheral electronic sub-systems.
The system is especially suited for use on land vehicles or marine vessels alike for hi-rate and accurate survey data acquisition. When vessel-mounted, the Dynascan integrates seamleslly into our pool of Reson Multibeam Echo Sounders (MBES) for simultaneous topside-and subsea (bathymetry) data acquisition.
