VisualSoft of Aberdeen, Scotland was established in 1992 to develop custom software and successfully introduced digital video to the offshore survey and inspection industry with their premier, worldwide market-leading product "VisualWorks". Since then, VisualSoft has also developed a diverse range of applications to compliment VisualWorks.

VisualWORKS - is the market leading Digital Video recording, review and reporting suite for pipeline and structure inspection survey projects.

VisualWorks provides a comprehensive set of system tools to enable simultaneous, real-time encoding of multiple analog or digital ROV video cameras. VisualReview - is a freely distributable viewer that is supplied with reports generated using VisualWorks.

VisualReviewPro is an upgrade to VisualReview that end-users subscribe to on a yearly basis. The upgrade provides advanced features not available in the free version. Additionally, this subscription includes email and telephone support with regular software upgrades.  

The following features are available with VisualReviewPro:

• Ability to extract video clips
• Ability to export data to excel and other file formats
• Ability to view pipeline events on a pipesheet type display and compare results from different surveys
• Ability to directly recover video from backup tapes
• Provides programmable interfaces for external control from 3rd party applications e.g. Control via a GIS system
  Ability to access data clicking on a geo-referenced image or map of the survey area
• Ability to copy projects between different storage locations.

VisualEvent - is a pipeline inspection event data entry tool that combines with VisualWorks to provide the quickest eventing system available.

VisualEvent is fully configurable and can be upgraded with plug-in client libraries for algorithms necessary to provide fast classification of events based on associated data. VisualEditPro - is an upgrade to VisualWorks providing automated data processing and graphical data editing features within the standard VisualEdit video and data review application.

This package provides a faster method of processing survey data. VisualEditPro reduces the man-power required to process survey data and deliver a repeatable, quality result. VisualProfiler - is used to capture ROV sensor data. When used in conjunction with VisualWorks the raw data is archived with the video and processed using VisualEditPro.

VisualProfiler also provides online processing of cross-profiles including alignment of scan pairs and placement of seabed markers and pipe. New sensor interfaces are being added as required.

VisualDVR - is the most versitile Digital Video Record designed specifically for video inspection and monitoring.

VisualDVR is a digital video recorder designed to directly replace the analog tape VCR for single camera applications. Recording and playback operations are simply controlled through a rotary wheel controller. VisualOverlay - is a new video overlay system that provides higher quality in a space saving solution when compared to traditional systems. VisualOverlay is a Windows based software package that controls a PCI card that produces the overlay image on a video signal. Developed as an upgrade to VisualWorks digital video Encoder and VisualDVR, it can also be deployed as a stand-alone product.

The PCI card supports S-Video or Composite, PAL or NTSC. Multiple PCI cards can be installed within a single PC to create a multi-channel system.
